The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Share Displeasure About Size Updates
Vinted users have been reacting angrily due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its sizing categories for women's and children's garments but did not contact all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are posting online stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to examine their items and update the measurements by hand when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Modifications
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Required Changes
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
